Why Our Community Matters Most

“We are a united community living in a beautiful and safe environment which we achieved through caring and wholehearted cooperation in all our endeavors”

This is the vision that the present Board of Directors of BVAHAI has created for our community.

Throughout the history of our village, we have witnessed the desires and determination of past Board members to improve the standing of our community and its homeowners. During their tenure, they were able to achieve what they considered were the immediate needs of the community. They were able to initiate a number of changes. Sadly, these did not prosper, as any ocular tour of the community will show-and-tell:
  1. Homeowners still feel unsafe,
  2. Beautification of the community is still wanting,
  3. Expenditure is still far more than the revenue earned,
  4. The maintenance of our roads and water system is sporadic and curtailed, and
  5. Long-standing issues of disgruntled homeowners remain unsettled.
And the sad part about these scenarios is that the members of our community have become indifferent and the Association seemed to have lost its fervor for governance. Uninspired as a community, the concerted desire to achieve meaningful and substantial changes have all but disappeared.

Aware of all these, the newly-elected members of the BVAHAI hope to re-energize once again the community’s sense of Pride of Place and Fellowship. But first, Trust has to be earned before we can regain the joy of spontaneous cooperation. For now, the Board members’ sincerity and patience are being put to the test before our shared vision can become a reality. This is a tall order but the present Board is willing to try hands-on.

It is only when we all think and act as one can a truly united Bankers Village community emerge and lasting changes prevail.
